I went out with Jade a few times in Port Douglas, Mossman and surrounds, and got so much out of it every time. She has such a unique way of seeing things and so can draw your attention to details maybe otherwise missed. We would then discuss suggestions around composition and camera settings in order to take a really unique and effective photo (and these would work out to be some of my favourite photographs of the day!). We had wonderful sessions in Mossman as well as rainforest areas, and I found really focussing on one area really gives you an incredible depth of appreciation for an area/subject that you would not get otherwise. Jade is incredibly knowledgeable about all things photography, but it is her creative eye and overall enthusiasm that made me a return customer, and I heartily recommend her sessions for anyone, regardless of how much experience they may have with a camera.

For many years I loved the art of photography but I struggled to understand how to use the settings on my camera in order to capture the picture I could see in my mind. I hardly used my camera because I felt overwhelmed and frustrated.
Then I met Jade…
I went out once a week with Jade who patiently showed me how to use and adjust the settings to achieve specific outcomes and before long, I was comfortable using my camera in MANUAL mode.
But I learned SO MUCH MORE than how to use my camera settings. Jade took me to different environments so that I was exposed to photographing a wide variety of subjects, for example, landscapes, urban environments, people, models. Because Jade is such a talented and creative photographer, I learnt to see things and photographic opportunities, that I would not normally notice. I also learnt how to best edit my photos.
I always had such fun on our photographic outings and I will be forever grateful for all I learnt from Jade.
